It's Always Interesting When Aidan's Home

Aidan: Mom! I feel all better now!
Me: Honey, you're supposed to be taking a nap!
Aidan: Oh.
Me: Silly stinker!
Aidan: Yeah, I stink.

~~~~~~~
Me: Aidan, you're stepping on all my folded laundry!
Aidan: Oops. (He sits down and contemplates)
Aidan: Mom?
Me: Yeah?
Aidan: Me sorry me did that.
The heart melts.
Grrr! Ethan is always walking all over the pile of clean laundry I am sitting right there folding, and he has no clue! When I say something, he looks down and his eyes get really big then looks at me and says, "Oh. Sorry mom." And I swear he never knew the terrain had changed!
And saw your comment on my blog...and to answer your question, I am on Clonazipam for anxiety, and Wellbutrin and Effexor for depression...and they have worked miracles!!!
it's fun to read blogs of people w/ smaller kids. it's weird how after you're done w/ a STAGE in your kiddos' lives, you QUICKLY forget what it was like...but when you're IN IT, it feels INTERMINABLE. now i'd give a million bux to be back where you are! serious. mine are 9.5, 7, 4.5. aaaahhh me. those chubby baby/toddler feet in pic? that and the hands is what i miss most. i frequently kiss my youngest's hands. i could just EAT up her babyness. it's FLEETING!
thx for visiting MY blog. to clear something up...RARELY is there anything FAST about my 'running.' i only even CALL "it" running becuz i was encouraged 2do so in my "non-runner's marathon trainer" (and i even WAS a runner b4 i started 'training')(see, i use all these terms loosely)...becuz i guess it helps you get in that mindset? i dunno. i would normally use terms like 'slogging' or 'jogging' or 'barely moving along fast enuff to catch a turtle' or some such thing. and i 'ran' w/ a gal on saturday who had bronchitis. it was difficult for her. but i've run w/ asthma sufferers too. we go so slow.
i'm pretty sure you COULD do it, with lotsa precautions and preventative measures, but you have to get the bug! =)
well, maybe someday i'll see you out there. meanwhile, you're prob.doing laps around me running after your kiddos!
God bless you and your fam!
I love kid conversations!
I can't wait until I can converse with my child and get more than one audible word followed by four hundred "huh's".
