I Still Remember All The Lyrics, Too

Nothing like a good bit of loud Metallica to get you going in the morning. Jim was whining about listening to Coldplay on the way to work, so we popped in some ...And Justice For All and rocked out. Ah, the memories.
Remember when I used to wear acid-washed jeans? Stretchy ones that bunched up like leg-warmers at the bottom? Remember when I teased my chin-length bangs and wore my Metallica shirt and was deeply in love with Kirk Hammet?
Ah, those were the days.
I've always been a bit of a strange one. Even during my metal-head days, I adored Prince and made up videos to Michael Jackson's Beat It with my sister in the kitchen.
Anyhow, I was all pumped when I got home. Liam and Aidan are both in daycare and Caleb is in school.
So, I dyed my hair. It is currently 8 minutes into the 20-minute hilighting cycle.
I shall post a picture, good or bad, when it's done. That is my vow to you, internet friends.
In the meantime, feel free to embarrass yourself along with me by telling me something you did in high school that was totally radical back then but not so much now.

Unfortunately, I had what my husband calls "Reba hair". He had "Kurt Cobain hair". We did not know each other in high school and even if we'd gone to the same school wouldn't have even glanced each other's way!

Remember tunics? I think that's what they were called. A top and pants or skirt you could switch out? Not exactly flattering. Nor were Hammer pants.

I can't remember many old 'looks'. I think I've blocked the trauma out. Except for stretch pants...bleugh!

Lookin' forward to seein' your hair.

In 1985 I was a Madonna look-alike. Perm, highlights, lace top over tight tank, short poofy skirts, knee-length stockings, high heels. Bracelets up the arm. I was hot!

Am I the only person who thinks those fashions were much better than what we wear today?? LOL!!!!

LMAO. Nothing gets me going more than "For Whom The Bell Tolls".

I was very conservative and preppy, so I never really did anything outrageous. But...I always had an opinion about everything and had no problems expressing it...and THAT would get me into lots of trouble! lol!

Tree, is your hair naturally curly? How beautiful ... this is what Jenn would sell her husband's second original painting for! She always had straight, fine hair and her brother was blessed with the curly locks when they were little. Why do the little brothers get the curls, eh?!
